About the Project

Oko-Oba Clean Energy is delivering Lagos State's first hybrid rooftop solar + biogas distributed energy project. Located at the iconic Agege Abattoir, the project will supply 3 megawatts of solar power with integrated energy from organic waste directly into the Lagos State electricity grid. It's energy for today, and a model for tomorrow.

Mrs. Titilayo Oshodi

Mrs. Titilayo Oshodi

Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Climate Change and Circular Economy | Championing Climate Finance, Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Green Growth.

Titi Oshodi serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Climate Change and Circular Economy, leading the transition to a zero-carbon, climate-resilient economy by 2050. She is driving initiatives to position Lagos as Africa's first subnational carbon market hub.

Notably, Titi spearheads the 80 Million Clean Cookstoves Project, the world's largest Article 6.4-compliant clean energy initiative. This project aims to distribute 80 million clean cookstoves across Nigeria, with 8 million in Lagos. It is expected to generate 1.2 million carbon credits annually and over $1 billion in green finance, while improving public health and empowering women- and youth-led SMEs.

Titi oversees EcoPassex, a platform uniting corporates and innovators to boost green investment, and manages the CEO & Business Network, which supports over 600 eco-enterprises in Lagos with training and market access.

With a background in marketing communication and sustainable development, Titi is an advocate for gender-inclusive climate leadership, promoting policies that provide economic opportunities for women and youth. Her commitment to ethical governance is underscored by her membership in professional organizations, including the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) in Nigeria.

As a passionate advocate for youth and social reform, Titi emphasizes character education and capacity building to promote ethical leadership. Her extensive expertise in climate finance and public-private partnerships positions her as a crucial voice in developing sustainable cities.

Chief Innovation and Growth Officer — Clean Technology Hub

With over 20 years of transformative leadership in the Telecom and Renewable Energy sectors, Nina N. Afani has consistently pushed boundaries to drive innovation and growth. A graduate with advanced certifications in business strategy and operations, She specializes in the clean energy industry and has led the delivery of complex consulting projects for top-tier globally recognized organizations, including Mkobo Mfg. (formerly Enatek Nig.), PowerGen Renewable Energy, and Clean Technology Hub.

As a seasoned management executive, she has spearheaded impactful projects, such as launching Nigeria's first World Bank/REA Performance- Based Grant solar initiative and achieving record-breaking sales of $2 million in the renewable energy sector. Her professional experience spans business strategy, innovation and operations, professional project development, implementation, execution, stakeholder management, service innovation, communication, leadership, and team management, positioning her as a trailblazer in clean energy and techno-commercial sectors.

Currently serving as Chief Innovation and Growth Officer at Clean Technology Hub, Nina specializes in developing strategies that leverage emerging technologies to foster sustainability and inclusivity. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nina is a passionate advocate for community development, volunteering with organizations to empower women and underprivileged children.

In her free time, Nina enjoys exploring creative pursuits, engaging in leadership development initiatives, and contributing to climate resilience dialogues. Her unique blend of expertise, community focus, and forward-thinking leadership makes her an inspiring voice in the fields of energy transition and innovation.

Mr. Babajide Shitta-Bey

Mr. Babajide Shitta-Bey

Senior Finance and Business Transformation professional, Consultant General Manager at Air Solution Nigeria Limited.

Babajide Shitta-Bey is a Senior Finance and Business Transformation professional. He obtained his first degree from University of Lagos in 1992, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN & FCA) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (MCMA & CGMA). He is a Management Graduate from the Warwick Business School, University Of Warwick, Birmingham, UK. He started his career with one of the world's leading professional firms, the legacy Coopers & Lybrand and later PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria, as a Trainee Auditor and rose to the level of Energy and Utilities Audit Manager, leading and managing auditing, accounting, due diligence and training assignment for indigenous and top-tier multinational Oil & gas, financial services and manufacturing clients between 1994 and 2005. He led statutory audits in accordance with local and international accounting standards such as the U.S. and Italian General Accounting Practices (GAAP).

He joined the Deepwater Oil & Gas Company, Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) late 2005 as Head Finance-Logistics. He subsequently had stints as Head Finance- Exploration & Well Engineering Business and Regional Business Finance Manager (IT function) for Sub-Sahara Africa at various times up to 2012, providing Finance in the Business Partnership. He also worked for the Chrisma & Shellas Waters Oil & Gas Company- Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited (SPDC) between 2012 and 2023 as Cost Allocation Advisor and then the Business Transformation Project Management Office Lead helping the Company to significantly close its "gap to potential". He currently works as Consultant General Manager at Air Solution Nigeria Limited, and non-executive director at AT Power Technologies Limited and Plouvard Concept Limited. Babajide is proficient in the use of software tools like Microsoft Office suite, SAP FI CO and Sage Accounting softwares, Sage & Power BI. He is also a Registered Scrum Master and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He devotes time to volunteer and act as Head of Department in a Non-for-Profit organization leading about 60 team members in support of the vision and mission of the organization. Babajide also serves as committee member for a Cooperative Society, He is happily married and a proud dad. He is learning to play golf in his spare time.

Engr. Victor Haruna Adamu

Senior Manager, Energy & Climate — Nigeria, Tony Blair Institute | Director, Green & Smart Group.

Victor Haruna Adamu is an accomplished energy and infrastructure professional with over 18 years of experience across electricity markets, clean energy, environmental policy, and development finance. He currently leads the Energy and Climate Practice in Nigeria at the Tony Blair Institute (TBI), where he provides strategic policy and delivery support to the Presidency, Ministry of Power, and State Governments on energy transition, electricity reform, and climate priorities. He also serves on the board of a number of companies one of which is Green & Smart Group, a diversified company driving innovation in sustainable infrastructure, utilities, and renewable energy across Nigeria.

Victor previously served as Technical Assistant on Infrastructure in the Presidency of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where he provided support for the coordination of sector-wide reform initiatives including electricity tariff restructuring, national metering infrastructure deployment, and public-private partnerships that catalyzed over $3 billion in investment into the Nigerian power sector. His broader work spans renewable energy project development, agriculture, WASH infrastructure, humanitarian response, and multi-sector advisory for global partners including the World Bank, USAID, Carbon, VSO, and Winrock International. He holds a Master's degree in Project Management for Energy & Environmental Engineering from IMT Atlantique (France) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maiduguri. He is a certified engineer (COREN), a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and an alumnus of the University of Oxford's Sustainable Business Program. Victor is a recognized thought leader and award-winning entrepreneur passionate about leveraging sustainable energy for inclusive development.
